Brotherhood Volunteer: Consistent male volunteers needed on Wednesdays at 5:30pm-6:30pm at Allied Drive for middle and high school boys. This program is provided through Nehemiah, and helps African American boys work through a curriculum of key issues related to the transition to adulthood. We engage a curriculum that targets the spiritual, mental, and physical well-being of our young boys (grades 6-8).  We employ a highly relational approach through the use of staff and consistent, mature, long-term volunteers who serve as coaches and mentors. The program is comprised of weekly meetings at a school location, additional monthly Saturday gatherings, field trips, and a rites of passage experience.
