High Point Church Prayers: January 2016
Ask for a hunger for God that yields more knowledge of him, more godliness in us, and more zeal in worship.
Pray that we would have a sincere desire to follow Christ that compels us to confess known sins and pursue righteousness with our whole hearts.
Our mission is to make disciples of Jesus. Pray that large numbers of non-Christians come to faith in Jesus through us as we share our faith within our spheres of influence.
With all of the transition in the church staff team and elder board, pray for continued unity, productivity, and joyfulness in the ministry of leading High Point Church.
Pray that God would provide the right person for the Kids Ministries Director role.
Pray that God would continue to use the ministry of Madison Christian Schools to transform the lives of families with the Gospel.
Marriage is a reflection of the love of Jesus for his church. Pray that we would demonstrate in our marriages that marriage is good and beautiful.
Singleness is a great blessing from God. We pray that the church as a whole would have a greater appreciation for this truth.
Pray that as a church we would continue to identify and develop leaders who will equip others to build Christ’s kingdom and accomplish his mission.
The Gospel breaks down natural barriers of race, ethnicity, and culture. Pray that HPC will grow in multiculturalism as we extend the grace and truth of Jesus in our community.
Pray that we would seek and cherish intergenerational community as an expression for God’s love for all people.
Pray that the church in Madison would work together in making disciples of Christ and for justice and peace in the city.
Pray for the High Point Church missionaries to excel in building God’s kingdom globally and for strength to do the work they are called to do.
Pray that God would grant wisdom and righteousness to our national, state, and local political leaders and that His will would be accomplished in the upcoming presidential elections.
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we could ask for or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.
