    friday night breakout SESSIONS:

    Women’s breakout session:

Supporting Your Husband Without Losing Yourself with Debbie Biddle

Wherever your husband is on the spiritual leadership spectrum, understand your critical role as a wife to encourage and affirm your husband as a spiritual leader without minimizing or over-spiritualizing your faith. Learn strategies for personal development and satisfaction that allow you to grow in Christ as you support your husband and your family.

    Men’s breakout session:

Following Christ, Loving Your Wife with Mike Beresford

It's easy for men to take the cues about their relationship from their wives, and often the conversation about spiritual things falls into this same pattern. Discover simple ideas that lead you and your wife into a pattern of growth in both your marriage and in your personal spiritual lives.

Communicating with Your Spouse with Lloyd Biddle and Niccole Khail

Learn how to communicate with your spouse in a way that builds them up, conveys the truth and expresses your feelings.

Sex—What Was God Thinking? with Mike Beresford and Erin Hesse

How do you live a life of sexual love that conforms to your dignity as a person and displays God's love for your spouse and yourself? Experience practical and open conversation addressing common confusing issues and situations, God's intent for sex, and why sex is meant to be a part of every marriage.

From Conflict to Connection with Sue Gruen and Brandon Brooks

When we feel alone in marriage, it affects us emotionally, spiritually and physically. If you feel insecure in your relationship, you’ll either become anxious, angry and controlling or avoid contact and stay distant. Learn how to discuss your most difficult topics and handle conflict effectively with your spouse and other family members. Instead of disconnecting when you disagree, find ways that will deepen mutual understanding and emotional connection to establish a secure lifetime of love.

Don’t Just Survive–Thrive with Estel Beresford and Jason Hesse

Discover how to thrive even in the midst of crisis—through trauma, illness and other external factors that impact your marriage.

*Starting a Family with Alexi Gibson and Scott Khail

Going from a family of “just the two of us" to a family of three or more is one of the most significant, admirable and demanding transitions a couple can make in their marriage. Learn how to prioritize your marriage above all other relationships within the family structure and address the realities of parenthood. This breakout will be relevant to couples starting a family both biologically and through adoption.

*Filling the Empty Nest with Jean and Matt Collins, Kris and Walt Peppler

Through a panel discussion, gain wisdom to guide you through the many transitions that occur when your children move into adulthood. Learn how to grieve change, bring life to your marriage and other relationships, connect with in-laws, grandparent well, and pour into younger generations.

*Offered during only one breakout session.

Online registration is closed. If you have any questions, please contact Erin at

If you have registered, you'll receive a follow-up email closer to the event date to choose your breakout sessions and indicate your childcare needs.

Childcare is provided for all ages for the entirety of the conference. However, if you are the parent of an infant ages 3 months or younger, you are welcome to care for your infant however you need to. Feel free to bring your baby into the sessions if needed.
