COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS.

SERVE LOCALLY.

BACK TO SERVE THE CITY

ORCHARD RIDGE.

Volunteers will be paired with students ranging in age from kindergarten to 5th grade.  During a meeting with a student, volunteers can work through a school assignment, play a game, read a book, or share a hobby.  The mentoring program is more flexible in what can be done; the tutoring program is strictly literacy-based activities.  Commit to meeting with a student for either the academic semester or the academic year.

Tutor an elementary student at Orchard Ridge Elementary school once a week during the school year.  Connect one on one with a student in our community providing assistance in either math or reading.  Training provided.  No teaching experience necessary. Equip students with literacy-based skills, such as reading and writing, for students in kindergarten to 5th grade.  Commit to meeting with a student for either the academic semester or the academic year.  This program is provided through Schools of Hope, an AmeriCorps program.

HOPE & A FUTURE.

SIGN UP TO VOLUNTEER

Hope & A Future is a staged neighborhood space in Madison, WI that houses healthy and frail older adults of mixed income level and affordable rental housing for young families interested in mentoring and support.

High Point Church has often partnered with them for Work Days and we encourage you to check out other volunteer opportunities with them as well.
