Prayer Retreat

Join us for this first prayer retreat, which will focus on a few prayer practices that help us personally encounter and experience God. There will be a short introductory teaching on each type of prayer and then a time of practicing it.The theme of our time together comes from Psalm 34:8, "Taste and see that the Lord is good…". In line with that theme, hopefully these practices will act as an "appetizer" so that you desire to explore them more fully and expand your experience of the goodness of God through them.
Who is the event for? For anyone who desires to experience some different adventures in and kinds of prayer.
What should attendees expect? To experience the presence of God in Scripture using your mind, your heart, and your imagination.
What will attendees gain by participating? To learn about and practice types of prayer that focus on developing your relationship with God through listening for His voice.
