At High Point Church, we welcome families with children of all ages and needs. As a church, we desire to connect families with one another and encourage them to grow in Christ, serve each other, and serve their communities.
Opportunities for families include a vibrant children's ministry, special needs support ministry, and a robust student ministry for middle- and high-schoolers.
During both services on Sunday mornings, we offer Kids Ministry (KidsMin) classes for infants through 5th grade. Once your kids join us in KidsMin, we'll send you updates about what's going on in KidsMin and how we can partner with you to raise your child to love Jesus. You'll also receive invites to family-oriented, social events at High Point. Learn more about each of our age-group specific classes here.
On Thursday nights, we host Awana, a global ministry that helps parents and churches raise children to know, love, and serve Christ. You can learn more here.
KidsMin Families hosts quarterly events made for connection as well as outreach. Families who are a part of KidsMin automatically receive invitations an information for these events through a weekly Kids Ministry email as well as flyers and social media promotions.
Our student ministry meets on Wednesday nights at 6:30pm—we call it Youth Group. This is a great place for students to connect and develop relationships with each other and our leaders, to belong and to discuss all the life issues that come with being a teenager. Join us and learn about our other events here.
Our student ministry also runs a podcast on a variety of topics surrounding life and faith that are pertinent to teens, intended for both students and parents. Listen to the podcast on YouTube, Spotify, and iTunes.
On the third Saturday of each month, we have Revive for families who have a child with a disability, ages 4 – 14, and their siblings. Revive is a time for children and their adult buddies to enjoy free choice and cooperative play, engaging art projects, fun music, a Bible story, and more. It's a fun place to be a kid. We desire to make the gospel message of Jesus Christ accessible to children of all abilities, and to give parents time to rejuvenate while their children are in a safe, fun environment. Learn more about Revive here.
