INTERNSHIPS.
Our goal is to provide opportunities for the next generation of church leaders to learn how to put into practice what God is stirring in their hearts. We're always looking for interns to serve in various roles and ministries including:
- administration
- communication & creative arts
- congregational care
- global missions
- hospitality
- kids ministries
- student ministries
- music & worship arts
- pastoral

This isn't a filing papers and fetching coffee kind of internship. Our goal is to build you up in the Christian faith so you can grow spiritually and see what it looks like to not only do ministry in a local church, but to truly be part of building up the Church. We want you to learn about ministry, but mainly, we want you to do ministry by getting hands-on experience.
FELLOWSHIPS.
Pastoral fellows receive the equivalent responsibility of a medical doctor in residency. A pastoral fellow is entrusted with a significant portion of the High Point's actual ministry. They are considered full staff members with a voice in the decision making process as long as they remain at High Point. Fellows are given preaching and leadership opportunities with consistent feedback from seasoned staff. The pastoral fellowship is an ideal stepping stone into a long term pastoral role at High Point or elsewhere.
Through a fellowship, you will experience:
LEADERSHIP
A pastoral fellow is entrusted with a significant portion of HPC's actual ministry. The church body considers fellows to be official pastors of High Point.
AUTONOMY
Fellows are expected to act creatively, decisively and independently with plenty of freedom to learn from mistakes.
LEARNING
Fellows receive continual support and mentoring from seasoned pastoral staff.
COMPENSATION
Fellows are compensated with a full time salary.
UNIQUE INSIGHT
Fellows are given access to Elders Meetings and Executive Team meetings with the aim to equip for senior pastor ministry.
PREACHING OPPORTUNITIES
Fellows will have opportunities to preach in Sunday morning services.
