HP101 Winter Session

HP101 is High Point's membership class, where you learn about the mission and vision of High Point, the beliefs that we stand by, and about the various ministries that make up our church. Membership at High Point is a wonderful blessing and responsibility, giving you the ability to vote on important topics at our Congregational Meetings. Financial Peace University

As Christ-followers, we're called to trust the Lord with everything in our lives. Our marriages, our work . . . and our money. Our church is hosting a 9-week Financial Peace University class starting January 18, 2026, from 8:30am - 10:15, where we'll walk through God's ways of handling money so we can become better stewards of His money for His glory. This class isn't just for those who are struggling! Money can be challenging for so many reasons! Grandparenting Matters

Being a grandparent is a gift, and the influence you carry in your grandchildren’s spiritual lives is greater than you may realize. In this 7-week Sunday afternoon class, we’ll explore practical tools, hear stories, and give encouragement to grow closer to God while investing in the next generation. Come join other grandparents and grandparent figures as we walk this meaningful journey together. Sign ups are not required.
Foundations of Historical Theology
Running February 15–March 22 // Micah D // 10:30am-12pm
We need intimate knowledge of the past to contextualize the present. Living in a time of constant change, we search for anything that promises comfort or control to treat our anxiety. The history of the Church provides wisdom and beautiful traditions to connect us to the ancient Christians, their writings, and their understandings of God. This class will be led by Monte Knetter and starts February 15.

Manuscript Bible Study
Sundays, ongoing // 8:30-10:00am // Micah E
Join us as we seek to encounter Jesus in the Word and apply its truth to our lives. This fall, each Manuscript Study will be a standalone class. The first week will be an introduction to Inductive Bible Study, and a bit of intro to the minor prophets. Then we'll spend 4 weeks with the book of Jonah, 4 weeks with Colossians, and finish with a 4-week Advent series on Messianic Prophecies from the book of Isaiah. The class will begin on September 21, first service in our usual classroom.
September 21 – Intro to Manuscript Inductive Bible Study, and intro to Minor Prophets
September 28 - October 19 – Jonah
October 26 - November 16 – Colossians
November 23 - December 21 – Advent Series from Isaiah.

Come see what we're about! HP101 is a class offered to holistically grasp what it looks like to be a member of the High Point Church family. We offer this class 3 times a year: Winter (first 4 weeks in February), Summer (first 4 weeks in June), and Fall (last 2 weeks of September/ first 2 weeks of October) during a Sunday Morning service.
This class is a requirement for membership—but everyone is encouraged to attend!

- This class will teach what we, as Christians at High Point, believe—the biblical background to our values.
- This class will clarify the stepping stones that build the path of an ever-growing experience as a Christian participating in the local church.
FORMAT OF THIS CLASS
- There are 5 podcasts that deliver the informational content of HP101 and 4 Class Discussions, first class is an intro.
- The classes will take place in person.
- Participants will listen to one or two podcasts each week before the Class Discussions.
- At the end of the class, there will be an opportunity to sign up for a membership interview.

We offer this class on a seasonal and as-needed basis to help new couples in their journeys together. Whether you are seriously dating, engaged, or newly married, this is the class for you. We hope to see you there!
This class explores marriage and its components: Communication, Problem Solving, Sex, In-laws, Family of Origin, Managing Expectations, A Look Ahead at Parenting, Finances, Spiritual Growth and more. A lot of time is dedicated to discussion—and this class is a great way to meet others in the same stage of life as you!

RULE OF LIFE
Disciplines of purpose in an age of distraction.
The Rule of Life course is made up of online, self-paced sessions designed to be completed over twelve weeks. Through the messages and accompanying content, we'll lay out a simple path for intentional spiritual formation and discipleship. We’ll explore how we can follow Jesus by walking as he walked even in our busy, distracted, and increasingly secular culture.
We will also be having live classes on a recurring basis as Rule of Life refreshers focused on re-clearing out distractions in our lives and refocusing your Rule of Life.
The next live classes will be March 9 and 16.
