Why We Serve

We want to make an impact in Madison and Dane County in the name of Jesus. Below are just a few of the organizations we partner with the goal of seeking the peace and prosperity of our city. No matter how long you've been coming to High Point Church, we want to help you find ways to serve in the city with your unique gifts and interests. You can serve on your own or join a small group to build relationships and serve with others. Check out the links below to get involved.

HELPING HANDS OUTREACH MINISTRY

Helping Hands Food Pantry gives people an opportunity to choose food and clothing items for their family.

Volunteers are key to making this ministry work. Helping Hands volunteers work together to make a positive and lasting difference by providing emergency care, extended care and access to social services, and a Christian witness to all in need. You can staff the pantry, pick up food donations, serve as a Spanish interpreter, or donate items (there's a drop-off bin in the High Point Church lobby).

Open: Tuesday - Thursday from 11am-1pm
Open: 3rd Saturday of the month from 9-11am.

HOPE & A FUTURE

Hope & A Future is taking a fresh look at the needs and strengths of the two fastest growing segments of our population: seniors and young families at risk. Their mission is to develop intergenerational neighborhoods and supportive care that fosters hopeful futures for young and old—in a green, faith-based environment.

They do this within a Therapeutic Interactive Intergenerational Neighborhood (TIIN) where they will provide facilitation of supportive intergenerational relationships to community support for seniors, foster job and life skills, educational achievement and healthy family functioning.

HIGH POINT CHRISTIAN SCHOOL

High Point Christian School, also known as the West Campus of Madison Christian School is a ministry of High Point Church. Both HPCS and Abundant Life Christian School (the East Campus of MCS) provide a Christian education in the greater Madison area – one consolidated school serving preschool to high school with the desire to educate the next generation of servant leaders who will impact the world for the glory of God.

The school is always looking for volunteers to tutor or mentor students, serve as a coach or spelling bee volunteer, help teachers grade papers, prepare projects, or run a school auction.
